World Kiteboarding Championships in Paros

On this small 1.7 km strait, driven by the winds from the west coast, kitesurfers from every continent put on spectacular shows, performing sophisticated tricks. This superb stretch of Greek sea is decked out in multicolored kites and invaded by fans. But Pounta isn’t just for professional riders. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced kiteboarder, there are modern training centers where you can learn to kitesurf or windsurf, improve your skills or hire equipment. Courses are taught by certified instructors.
