The town of Κέρρκυρα (Kerkira) in Greek enjoys an exceptional climate with averages of 25 degrees in summer. Corfu’s best beaches are just a stone’s throw from the town, look for the fine sandy stretches of Aghia Triada, Aghios Spyridon and Akypa. In the north of the island, you can take to the heights and climb the mountains. The Pantokrator peak is an ideal spot for a sumptuous panorama of all the beaches and coves of northern Corfu. Further south is the town of Prévéza. Located on a peninsula, it’s reminiscent of Corfu. Indeed, the Venetians invaded the whole of western Greece, leaving their mark of Dolce Vita where time seems to stand still. From the small fishing port, you can hire a boat and discover the long, breathtaking beaches around the town. Many of them are only accessible by sea. One of the most breathtaking beaches is Porto Katsiki on the island of Lefakada, some ten kilometers from Prévéza. On the Greek mainland, the Peloponnese is a prime peninsula for enjoying some of the most beautiful golden-sand coves in the Mediterranean.

On the other side of Greece, in the north of the Aegean Sea, lies an island that is still protected from the influx of tourists because it is difficult to access. Few boats serve the island of Skiathos, which is still a favorite spot for migratory birds. The most beautiful beach on the island, with its translucent waters, is Lalaria. Take a mask and snorkel to discover the teeming life of the seabed.
