Approximately 20 locations in Paris will offer the public a free and grand Olympic celebration
The excitement of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will kick off a year from now with a remarkable celebration along the Seine River, expected to be witnessed by hundreds of thousands of spectators gathered along the riverbanks.
The “Off des Jeux” (Games Off) is your opportunity to keep the Olympic spirit alive beyond the competition venues. It encompasses all the free festivities taking place in Paris during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, away from the official competition sites. You can experience the Games across Paris, whether with your family or friends.
Wondering where you can partake in the “Off des Jeux” festivities?
- There’s a map available showing the various locations across the city.
- Around twenty different spots in the capital will host these events.
- Iconic places include the forecourt of City Hall, the Académie du Cimat, the Youth Quarter, and the Solidarity Factory. An ideal area for renting a luxury apartment in that area would be notre dame area.
- Paris Plages (Paris Beaches) will be transformed with Olympic-themed decorations along the Seine and at the Villette Basin, with plans to extend this theme to the Canal Saint-Martin during the summer of 2024.
- Additionally, neighborhood venues such as parks, squares, and district town halls will bring the Olympic atmosphere to various parts of Paris.
These sites, coordinated with the assistance of district town halls, will offer sports and cultural activities, dining options, and live broadcasts of the events. Local businesses will participate to showcase Parisian craftsmanship, and these venues will adhere to sustainable practices, including reducing single-use plastics and favoring locally sourced food and drinks.
The “Champions Park,” an initiative by Paris 2024, will serve as the gathering place for sports enthusiasts worldwide to celebrate medal-winning athletes. Located at the prestigious Trocadéro, near the Eiffel Tower, it will feature daily parades of the previous day’s medalists, live broadcasts of major finals, and artistic and cultural performances.

- Location: Trocadéro where the most luxurious aparments are, at the base of the Eiffel Tower.
- Duration: Ten days from July 29 to August 10, 2024 (excluding August 2 to 4).
- Hours: 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
- Admission: Free.
At Villette Park, the Grande Halle (19th district) will become the central hub for Team France and its supporters. Open to all and free of charge, this venue will accommodate up to 700,000 spectators throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Visitors can meet French athletes, participate in sports activities, and enjoy evening festivities.
Club France is an initiative by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) and the French Paralympic and Sports Committee (CPSF).

- Location: Villette Park (19th district).
- Dates and Opening Hours for the Public: 28 days of entertainment from July 27 to August 11, and then from August 29 to September 8, 2024.
- Hours: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
- Admission: Free.
Key dates for Paris 2024 :
- Four months of celebration, commencing on May 8 with the start of the Olympic torch relay in France and concluding with the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games on September 8, 2024.
- July 14, 2024: Arrival of the Olympic torch relay in Paris and the opening of Club Paris 2024 at City Hall.
- July 26, 2024: Opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on the Seine.
- July 27, 2024: Launch of Club France at La Villette.
- July 29, 2024: Opening of the Champions Park at the Trocadéro.
- August 28, 2024: Opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and the reopening of Club France for the Paralympic period.
