Is is situated in open countryside, at the end of a little track that you discover after winding your way through the vineyards, along farms and colorful field on the small roads typical of the Luberon area. You reach the Mas towards the rear as it stands on a vast graveled area dotted with cypresses. The entrance is on its left hand side. The front faces south towards the swimming pool and the garden with in the distance and on the sides a field, an olive grove, vineyard, and further away the majestic Chateau of Ansouis silhouetted against the deep green shades of the Luberon. (The view is even more beautiful from the first floor bedrooms).

From the main entrance you get into a small hallway leading to a large living room very well lit by French windows opening out onto the terrace.

This shaded and flowery terrace, fully fitted out, runs the length of the façade of the house. The dining room and two of the downstairs bedrooms open out onto this terrace. You can have meals or have a cup of tea and even snooze on this terrace as it is so well protected from the sun as well as being light and colorfully flowered. There is a large table sitting 6 people, chairs and a bench and a little further away, at one end, a small round table and armchairs.

The large flat 3 acres garden is an enchantment. It has many Mediterranean species: pine trees, olive trees, oleanders, lavenders and vines all in harmonious setting, without forgetting the old weathered stone well and its wrought metal framework. The swimming pool with its large flagstone entices you to sunbath on the deckchairs. For leisurely walks or more vigorous hiking there is the whole Luberon area, a vast National park with, numerous sought in summer and cultural events from one village to another!
